Conflict Submission

Before submitting, please ensure your request qualifies as a conflict:

Priority of Training: Project Dance must remain your dancer’s top priority. While we support balanced lifestyles, participation in contact sports or school sports (with the exception of Friday Night Lights cheer) is firmly discouraged due to the risk of injury and conflicts with Company obligations.

  • Conflicts Are Requests Only: Submitting a conflict does not mean it is automatically excused.

    • Conflicts must be approved by the Director to be valid.

    • Even an approved conflict counts as an absence and applies toward the “3 Absence Rule” outlined in the Attendance Policy.

  • Definition of Conflicts: Conflicts are defined as unavoidable events that directly overlap with REHEARSAL TIME.

    • Valid examples: a family wedding, your own or close family member’s Confirmation/Bar Mitzvah, graduation of siblings, and school prom.

    • Invalid examples (are similar but not limited to): social events, vacations, or optional activities.

  • How to Submit Conflicts:

    • Conflicts must be submitted only through the private Company website by clicking the “Conflict Submission” button.

    • Requests must be submitted by the 15th of each month for the following month.

  • Conflicts will not be accepted by email, text, Band App, or in-person conversation.

  • School and religious obligations must be submitted in advance; the earlier, the better.

  • Abuse of the Conflict System: Conflicts are a courtesy system meant to help families—not to be overused. Excessive or inappropriate requests will be denied.

  • The Director reserves the right to issue consequences, including loss of performance opportunities or removal from routines without refund

Thanks for submitting!
